Tomorrow is the third one-day match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In the last two matches, one was won by Sri Lanka and other one was won by Bangaldesh but for this game I am looking for the team Sri Lanka to win it and win the series, casue last time Bangaldesh won but very hardly they faced multiples challenges and if Sri Lanka would notice some of the servel mistakes then they could changed the momentum till the ending overs of the game. And overall in this series, they were on top in the test matches, Sri Lanka dominated.

Although Bangladesh lost the first match by a big margin against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh came back in the second ODI match and Bangladesh secured a 16-run victory. If Bangladesh had lost the second match as well, there would have been no interest in the series and the last match might not have been taken seriously by the fans of both the teams, but since the third and last ODI match is the final match for both the teams, the fans will take this match seriously and both the teams will fight with their best in this match. If we discuss the performance of the two matches, Sri Lanka has performed better than Bangladesh comparatively and they made some mistakes in the second match. If they work on those mistakes, then maybe we can see a better performance from Sri Lanka in the third ODI match and it might be that they defeat Bangladesh and secure the ODI series.

Although we had to come back from the way we lost the first matches, Bangladesh regained its life in the last match. They were able to snatch victory very easily. Although the game is not always under their control, it can become a little challenging to adapt due to the change of venue. It is normal to have wins and losses in sports. Maybe we lost a little badly in the beginning. We were able to come back nicely and I hope Bangladesh will do well in the upcoming matches.

Not really, the Bangladesh team did win the 2nd ODI match but that same spirit is missing in this final match. I would say that Bangladesh's batting is not as per the standard and they need to revamp it completely. In the first match, they made 167 runs only and in the 2nd one day, they made 248 runs (they defended this though). Now in the 3rd ODI, they need to chase 281 runs, which is next to impossible for them.

I knew that right from the beginning when Bangladesh started the chase and now they are struggling at five wickets down at 124 runs. The Bangladesh captain and the top/middle order failed to bat. 

It is hard to watch team lose their good form especially in final game. You are right about Bangladesh batting it is just not consistent. They scored 167 runs then 248 runs which proves they can score well. But then needing 286 runs in final and being stuck at 186 runs and all team out.
It really looks like their batting order especially main players needs big change if they want to play well all time. They have to focus on their performance if they really want to compete with top teams.

We have been saying for a long time that Bangladesh cricket team needs big changes and reliable batsmen in the team but BCB is relying on the previous players who could not give Bangladesh anything in the last few years. There are some batsmen in Bangladesh who have not scored a century in the last three to four years and whose run average is very low. They are kept in the team in such a way that they are the auto choice of the team. If a player is not doing well, then why does BCB or why does it not give someone else a chance to play in his place.

 When the players are in the team as auto choices, they will forget to perform because then they will feel that even if they play well, they can play in the national team and even if they play badly, they can play in their position. But when someone else is played in his place after a few bad matches, he will feel that he must perform well and if he does not perform well, he will not be able to enter the national team again. Bangladesh should try this once, I think this trick will work.

This was completely unexpected for me because I only knew Italy as a strong football team and in this match I thought they would lose to Scotland in a zero competition, but the result was actually the opposite.

Anyway, Italy's next opponent is the Netherlands and I would put the Netherlands ahead in this case because the Netherlands team has been doing very well recently. And here too, if nothing unexpected happens, Italy won't be able to win.
And I can already see Scotland winning against Jersey.

No doubt that the results were unexpected. But we will get the confirmation only by tomorrow, when the final round of matches will be completed. Italy will be facing Netherlands, while Scotland will take on Jersey. Technically, all these teams can qualify given the results go in their favor. Talking about Italy, I am quite impressed with them because most of their players are Italian citizens. This is unlike some of the other European teams such as Norway and Austria, who have teams comprised 100% of foreign citizens. Yesterday, it was Harry Manenti who gifted Italy with the win, as he picked up 5 wickets. His brother Ben also did well with the ball. Grant Stewart and Thomas Draca were economical in the first powerplay. While batting, Emilio Gay scored 50 from just 21 balls. He didn't got much support from others, as Marcus Campopiano, Joe Burns and Justin Mosca got out for single digit scores.

It would be wrong to say that the entire team is performing poorly because of the absence of just one player. Because in cricket, winning is never possible only because of the good play of one player, maybe in that case the personal record will increase but there will be no improvement in the team.
And besides, I think it is time for Shakib Al Hasan to retire, so it is unusual not to see him in Bangladesh's t20 squad.
