The Sri Lankan team may be fully deserving of praise,this was possible mainly due to their good performance against Australia. Now one of my questions is that the Australian cricket team was able to perform such a good performance against the Sri Lankan team in the Test match but why they were doing so weak in the ODI match.

    Sri Lanka may have made their pitch here according to the convenience of bowling. In this match, Australia were all out for only 107 runs, which is an unimaginable thing. The statistics between them are now equal, Australia won the Test series and Sri Lanka won the ODI series accordingly.
    There is no end to the variety in the game of cricket. Despite the Australian team being so good, they have not been able to win a single match in ODI series against Sri Lanka which is really surprising. How is that possible. But I certainly would not consider Sri Lanka as weak because they were a good opponent for all teams. That form has faded a bit but it has started to return. Sri Lanka winning two consecutive ODI matches will help boost their confidence.

    Every team gets a bit more advantage at home but I don't think the team won solely on home advantage. If that was the case then why couldn't they win the Test match? I think Sri Lanka has a good ODI squad. Moreover, there is no way to say that everyday will always be same.

If they had lost two more players they would have lost game. This close win should make Oman team think about what they did wrong and how they can improve their batting. Like you mentioned first two players did well and scored 42 runs together rest of the team struggled and lost many players. This is problem that Oman needs to fix if they want to win more games easily in future.

    Both  Oman and Namibia are weak teams. That is why the match became so competitive. Namibia could only manage to score 96 runs. It was very difficult for Oman to win even with such a small target. Oman lost their fourth wicket for 78 runs and Oman lost their eighth wicket for 87 runs. Even then, Oman was able to win in the end. The players should work harder . There are enough talented players in Oman's squad. If the players work hard,  maybe the Oman team can gradually become as strong as afghanistan.

    My opinion about the first match of the Champions Trophy is that New Zealand will be completely ahead of Pakistan. The only reason I have such an opinion is that we have seen some very incredible statistics from the New Zealand cricket team in recent times. As a result, they naturally deserve to be at the forefront. Even i think that Pakistan might not even think about giving up on the New Zealand team so easily in this match.

    But right now, I'm thinking most about the second match of the Champions Trophy, that is, the match between Bangladesh and India. Based on the current performance of the Bangladesh team, it doesn't seem like they will be able to play well against India.

    I think teams should be complacent and assume that since they played the previous matches well, they will have an advantage. Every new tornament is different. Yes, New Zealand winning the Tri Nations final, will have the confidence with them but they should not take the Pakistan team lightly.

    I think it will be an even game and with Pakistan playing the game in the home ground, ICC tournament coming to their country after a long time, there would be another sort of feeling and atmosphere.     Honestly, I don't think so at all. Pakistan is heavily dependent on their middle order batsmen while New Zealand's top and middle order are firing on all cylinders these days. The Kiwis have a better bowling lineup too.

    This is why Pakistan's home ground advantage won't really help them much in this particular tournament.

    I also have to agree with you because New Zealand were able to play properly there. But I feel like there can be a lot of difference between the Tri-Nation Series and the Champions Trophy, so we need to make the right predictions. Pakistan is playing a few warm-up matches now but they are currently performing exceptionally well in those matches. One of those warm-up matches was the one in which Pakistan faced Afghanistan, In that match Pakistan A performed relatively well against Afghanistan. Even the Pakistan team's margin of victory in this match was much higher. Every cricket fan wants the Champions Trophy matches to be exciting and have proper competition.

No player played big inning in this match and that was the reason small number of audience watched this match. Erasmus was unlucky because he took 5 wickets in this match but he did not get man of the match in this match because he e could be match winner if players of his team could play well in this match.     Both  Oman and Namibia are weak teams. That is why the match became so competitive. Namibia could only manage to score 96 runs. It was very difficult for Oman to win even with such a small target. Oman lost their fourth wicket for 78 runs and Oman lost their eighth wicket for 87 runs. Even then, Oman was able to win in the end. The players should work harder . There are enough talented players in Oman's squad. If the players work hard,  maybe the Oman team can gradually become as strong as afghanistan.
    This is due to their own poor performance which is weakening them.  The pressure on the Namibian batsmen was too much which led to their defeat and it was carelessness and haste on their part which allowed them to score so few runs and lose the match.  Oman's batsmen made this target very easy, they did not have to work hard and will win this match easily.  This target could have become difficult for them if their bowling was not good, if they did not have courage in bowling, they could have made a difficult target in the match.  The lack of pressure from the Namibian bowlers led to their defeat.  Although they had 50 overs in which they could have given a good and big target, the Omani team did not let them succeed in any way.

    Namibia used to be one of the strongest teams in associate world, but in recent times they seems to be in a downward spiral. They have a very small player pool to chose from, as cricket is mainly played by the white and colored populations. Efforts to spread the game to black population didn't had any impact so far. On the other hand, Oman is a team of imported players from India and Pakistan. There is not a single Omani citizen in their squad, and the presence of sub-continental players with first-class experience gives them the advantage.
