Majority of people are not aware about bitcoin, and people who knows it will hesitate in reinvesting if price falls back, so these are two major reasons people don't like to use it.

pure negativity. the media is exactly the same as here. when they here cover bitcoin related news, it's always bad. bitcoin is the currency of the deep web and criminals. bitcoin is being used to finance terrorism. bla bla bla. the last 2 years it's only bad news that they release. the media is trying to brainwash people. other than that i really don't know why they do this.

but mate if people have never heard about bitcoin then how can we expect that bitcoin is used for illegal activities, people can make that comment only if they know bitcoin properly.

People are lazy and they most likely think bitcoin is hard to use and full of math. Also they may think they missed the boat and people hate being late adapters to any cool new thingy. The media has done a good ass raping of bitcoin and thats not going to help,when you combine banks closing accounts over bitcoin transactions going to their account.

They are not so much lazy but overall they are scared, because it is new And it involves money. Whenever there is money involved people are taking precautions. but in this case
they wait for bitcoin getting more usage.

People are eager for new things but bitcoin got a bad name because of the media. It's wrong but that's the way it is.
I guess bitcoin needs to proof itself once again.

+1 for this, all the news about bitcoin only elaborate about scam, ponzi, and crime. not the good side of it and people who never use it believe what those media wrote..

You are definitely right. I experienced this thing about "missing the boat". A friend of mine that I am urging to use bitcoin as an investment says it is like too late for him. I always tell him that there is no such thing as late in bitcoin. We dont know what could happen in the upcoming days or weeks.

You are right, media had made a bad concept in people's mind about bitcoin that it is not good used by criminals this and that, and i think now bitcoin need some time to prove itself to the world, and the world should also give it some time to prove itself and become more popular then usual, and it will do it, people will surely start using it once it comes out in countries and accepted by some places.
