Yeah laziness can be one factor responsible for people not using it and second reason could be that they really are not aware about bitcoin.

Today I told my bank manager how to get bitcoin. Told him to just signup to coinbase and have funds from his bank account buy bitcoins.

Lets see if he does it.

Well the main reason under people stop or not going into bitcoin besides the image connected to bitcoin that is used to black market.The governments are acting against bitcoins ,atleast some of them,instead of trying to regulate the people who have a good portfolio or small they wanna ban it as they see is a problem and not the real value of bitcoin.Besides those people loose some bitcoins when they dont make a backup of their wallets and dont save the keys to acess it if the computer get lost or something happend to the company where your coins present.

i think people is scared about if bitcoin will be dead when they start investing in bitcoin and in trade i think that people don't trade with bitcoin because you don't know who is the customer so it have a high risk of scam so that is why some people don't use btc

One thing to consider is the mining community has significant costs associated with mining bitcoin. Being a miner myself I wouldn't sale my bitcoins at a loss. I'm sure the rest of the mining community feels the same way. I think that has helped bitcoin become not nearly as volatile as it use to be.

yes a lot of people are afraid of new investment. everyone has a sense of fear to spend money, while the results are unpredictable. I think this is reasonable. the important thing is we have the confidence to invest in bitcoin. bitcoin investment in my opinion is a favorable thing. bitcoin is an investment in the future.

In my opinion only very few exchanges have made the users to get into loss with their fraudulent activity. Now most exchanges had got a trusted network of users.

price value of bitcoin has just reached 450$ for a few days, and with the next block halving is coming really soon, it can't stand still too long for anyone to consider it's stable.
i have read the book 'The World is Flat' and actually gonna believe it, really awesome book. there is a counter book 'The World is Curve', though.

Google: "double spending". For a cup of coffee a zero confirmation transaction is perfectly fine, but for a complete dinner for 4, say 0.25 BTC, you don't want your customer to undo the transaction.
On the other hand, you also don't want your customer to be waiting for a confirmation, taking up table space, and getting annoyed if the next block takes too long.
