Are there standard procedures of sending/transferring coins to Bittrex and other trading platforms?..

I lost allegedly 25K cubes, deducted from my wallet balance yesterday

How can I check the validity of transaction and get back the cubes?

First, in your wallet try going to Help>Debug Window>console and type in repairwallet. I checked on our block explorer and the transaction is not showing up on the blockchain.
You also may want to go to the "on the web tab" and see if the current blocknumber matches the blocknumber when you hover over the checkmark in the lower right corner. If it does not match within 1 block, you may have somehow got on a different fork.

Don't ever trust a balance if your wallet isn't fully synced. Wait until you are caught up to use repairwallet to get accurate results

Is cubeminers.com down,  can't seem to connect and showing no active miners on website?
