I think he will come in first place currently occupied by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 38,387 perhaps in 2022!
Likely it will as I see that possibility when Lebron James joined the 25,000 points party, making him the youngest player in the league to reached that point mark with 915 games, just a quiet few games between Abdul-Jabbar's 889 games when the legend hit that mark. That was way back 2015 and look at the increase with numbers in just a few seasons.
Also LBJ is not that type of player that can considered as injury prone and his athletisicm is still intact just like his peak days at Cleveland Cavaliers 1 and Miami Heat.
That's possible because obviously he is better than Dirk, it's unlikely that Lebron will be enjoyed because he is very strong and he matured now as a player. He knows when he needs to score and since it's still in regular season and they are secured already to get into the playoffs, he would rather be a facilitator and work the stats on his assist than score most of the time.
Looks like you need some readings as the discussion is not about comparing Dirk to Lebron. They have different role and game play so no sense to compare them.
