Is Harden back?
Sorry I am not much updated with the Houston team. Maybe I will watch some replay later.

One thing is for sure. They traded one of their good defender. Ariza. That guy is so long that it could defend 2 guys at the same time. Steals. Ariza is good with that, plus he also have the stamina to keep up and defend star players which are at the off guard position. He have the upper hand as always for his long arms.
He didnt need to score. Just keep up with the offensive play.

Edit: okay so Harden is back. But that is a good game against Indiana.

It's not a mandatory for them to have a superstar or a seasoned coach. Just a role players is enough and that's what their lacking. But still with their setup, they can finished a good spot on the West. Example last season, they performed well in the West standing and finished at 3rd spot. But unfortunately got swept by the New Orleans Pelicans in first round of the playoffs. It's fine if it's not a sweep but they literally choked on that game.

Competition in the West is tough but they managed to get a good spot last year so it means that their current lineup is good. It's just that they are pressured once they are on playoffs and that's what they need to changed as they supposedly not new anymore on that kind of pressure.

Agree. A team is only that good until they lost and that should be a wake up call for them to make adjustments (defensively or offensively). If teams see Portland as a good offensive team then obviously, other teams will make adjustment so if they didn't evolved then its obvious that its going to be hard for them to win games. Games are played like every minute, I mean teams adjust their plans as the game progresses so they need to adjust and progress as well to stay competitive.

I'll observe more games from them but Chandler is really a good addition to the team.

I'll give everyone some refreshments with the current standing of our favorite teams.

Eastern Conference:
1. Raptors

While for Cavaliers, they are now #15 which means last.   

Western Conference:
1. GSW

While Lakers sits at top 10.

They get bigger now and they won the game although DRose strikes again.
In terms of defense they have a good improvement because of the addition, both Javale and Chandler are good rebounder and shot blocker.

It's too early to celebrate, remember that they are playing at home but they did not dominate a team that is not doing well.
The Jimmy butler issue have ruined the Twolves already, last season they were a good team but now they are messing up, I think they need to let
Butler the soonest and make Derrick Rose as their main man, would you agree with that?

He will indeed help their defense as I don't think McGee can play 30+ minutes every single game. What people forgot to mention and what was at full display last night is Chandler's ability to grab offensive rebounds. He had 3 of those (he was only credited for 2 I think) in the last minute with the game on the line.

For me, this was Lakers most impressive win of the season, not because Wolves are such a great team, but the way they shot the three tonight. I don't have statistics right in front of me but usually when you shoot 50% from 3pt and make 20 of those you don't lose.

Anyway, Lakers have a pretty favorable schedule for the next two weeks as they have to face teams like SAC, ATL, ORL, MIA, and CLE. Should be able to rack some wins and climb up the standings. They are just one and a half games behind 4th seed (Spurs).

Set aside Jimmy Butler drama but in that recent game, you are really expecting that Lakers should dominate the game because "Twolves is a team that not doing well" and they are on Staples Center? That's not making sense. Remember that Timberwolves defeat the Lakers in their first meetup and Jimmy Butler is the key player there. This team is not a joke even they are on 4th consecutive loss now. Going back to their game recently, all Wolves starters made an overall good contribution and the only thing lacking is the bench squad.


Just relax. The management knows what they are doing. There are lots on their tables on until the next year free agency.

I agree. It was a entertaining game to watch. DRose hitting 3's, just missing the most important though in the game. Your man Kuzma having a good game as well. And say what? Tyson Chandler still playing? Lol, he is already a relic so I don't know what Lakers acquire him,  . But he made one crucial rebound (tap) to his team mates in the dying seconds, so he is all good for now.

You should know that Jimmy Butler will be out of the picture sooner rather than later. From what I know so far Jimmy is toxic in the locker room making both Wiggins and KAT play below their potential whenever Jimmy is with them on the court. Another thing what I don't like about Jimmy at the start of the season is he choose when to play or not, he has miss several games already even though he is in perfect condition to play. He is basically telling the team to trade him already which if I am the coach I have done it already even before the season starts. Thibs shouldn't be the one handling the trade talks as he obviously is stalling any offers to him.
