The Utah Jazz are playing poorly at the moment and I couldn't trust them to cover the point spread tonight so I left that game alone. I didn't bet at all tonight on the NBA as I didn't really like anything except for the Bulls to cover the +1.5 point spread which it looks like they will as they are up by 7 points late in the 4th quarter but stupid me I didn't put it on as I didn't get home in time.
They are losing in the past games, I do not know how many losing streaks they have but most loses are not even close. I can't understand what happen to their system now, they had a good start in the this season, maybe at least they make a fight against denver so we can see value of our money.
The Jazz are currently on a 4 game loosing streak and sometimes it is hard for teams to break out of a loosing streak and now they have a 3 day rest which should refresh the team and hopefully come back fresh and ready to go against the Denver Nuggets at home. As I have been saying I'm really liking the Bulls this season as they are playing very well and competing well and beating some good teams. They even pushed the Clippers last night where I thought they might win the game but lost it in the 4th quarter. The Bulls could be a dark horse to win the NBA championship.
I think the reason the Bulls are winning is because of their physical style of play. They had successful runs like these under Thibs but injuries to key players always derailed their chances at another ring for Chicago. It is better to be rugged and grind out wins than be nice and lose ball games. If they can just have a healthy season, the Bulls could be among the teams that can challenge the Cavs for the Eastern supremacy.
I agree and to be honest I actually think it will be the Bulls and Cavs playing off in the Eastern conference finals which I think we be a great battle between the 2 teams. I agree the Bulls must stay healthy if you have any chance at reaching the Eastern conference finals. How good would it be to see Wade V James old team mates facing off for a spot in the NBA finals. I know it's still early on in the season but that would be an awesome match up.
Coming from someone that is a huge, huge Bulls fan, I don't think that they could push through that far.
We've got a lot of very talented youth on our team, around which a very solid team can be formed in the future, but that does mean we lose out in current games.
Health is also a big issue, the Bulls have a track record of having some of the most injury prone players, and picking up an old DWade isn't helping the cause.
I also don't think Hoiberg is a good fit for the team AT ALL. His in-game decisions in some of the games have been extremely questionable, and his system isn't one that's meant for this team. A lot of his offensive plays revolve around small ball shooting, textbook pace and space, but the system should be built around the players, not the other way around. Jimmy, DWade, and especially Rondo, are historically bad shooters. That's simply how it is. Having Rondo shoot at this point is a complete wasted opportunity, and I'd much rather see him utilizing his exceptional ball movement to feed low to Lopez, who I think could have a great season. They need to focus more on plays that will allow them to get to the bucket, rather than settling for long shots.
I just think there's too much within the Bulls organization that needs to be addressed, and I don't see them pushing to the ECF at this rate.
That being said, they've had a solid start, and hopefully they can start working out some of these kinks to make them more serious contenders.
