This is very exciting! It looks great! 1 BTC is a fair price for something new and first-of-its-kind, but triple-price for the metal case is tough. Because of course I want the metal case... but the price makes it so obviously a vanity feature that I'd feel guilty blowing the dough on it. So far, the indecision is stopping me from ordering either one...

somewhere between 50-75$ for the plastic one and 100-150$ for the metal one would be fair, imho.

every single penny you spend on buying trezor is a penny lost 
people discuss about the price of a product which hasnt held its delivery promises for months now and never gets any updates 
thats stupid. if you dont know what todo with your money please send it to me 

i know "the product exists", "there are photos of it", "somebody used it already" ..
nevertheless the devs of trezor dont give a single fuck about any comment here and they are too lazy to write some short status updates. these are some signs of a scam and nobody cares about it 

True story. I've preordered approximately one year ago! More worse then Butterflylabs!

I run 10 plastic injection moulding machines for zipper manufacturing . I am located in India , i ordered multiple moulds from China .
I received my final mould in 4 weeks and the production started in 1 day from those moulds .

I can't believe Trezor team have not even received their moulds yet . Its shocking . If they can provide me the mould design , i can provide them the finish cases in 5 weeks and in multiple color themes as well .

I can print 40 trezor plastic cases in 10 seconds .

a manufacturer which isnt able to produce a little plastic case in some weeks. do you really believe this story?
okay if everything is ready beside the case then just ask your customers if they want to get their trezors without case. some guys are able to print a case with a 3D printer in some minutes...

So is this still going? I think I have been waiting over a year now, and the updates are getting fewer and fewer

so they spend all their money (BTC) on a non-existing plastic mold??  
and they signed a contract that didn't define any goals the manufacturer has to achieve before he's receiving the full payment??
and who's this new, unknown investor?

he hopefuly didn't ask them to implement a minor bugfix for their Dual Elliptic Curve random number generator in order to help them out, haha..
