Whales is a problem plaguing many crypto currencies, some more than others. Ask the Espers people. When launching a coin, the free giveaways and low ICOs create whales who are in just for a quick buck, not seeing/believing the long term potential.

BUT Nobody lost money from the Dao or ETH.  Maan, no wonder LISK is going down hill....one look in this thread, and its a bunch of newbs and millennials thinking they know the crypto scene

ETH back to ATH ($15) from a few days ago.  Compare the loss to peeps investing in LISK ...everyone lost a little ;-)

I agree that ETH will need time to recover....but as of this post, its at $15.00 (ATH prior to this "hack") and I am fine with it at this price after a security breach.  Shows you something about ETH withstanding this and not dropping to .35cents
