Nice way of measuring things - initial FIAT investment.  
I tend to look at it in terms of BTC (as most do I think) as that money would be in BTC and not my bank.  

BloomBit's trading at the lowest prices and the 5th lowest volume. You can get better prices on Poloniex and nor risk getting ripped off. BloomBit's not worth trading on with its iffy withdrawal engine.

is it fair to say ETH is better at doing Smart contracts than dAPPS
and LISK is better at doing dAPPS than smart contracts
or can ETH do both?

Just buy both and stop worrying.
