The beginning was a complete different story. With very small number of users, most of the volume seemed for one purpose. I guess we can ignore those day with respect to current scenarios.

No. Do you have any proof to support your claim? The dark market and gambling volumes are down from 2013/14, and as far as I know, most of the transaction volume is now being spent on legal shopping and trading. But then it is entirely a different thing, if Bitcoin is not "legal" in a particular country or region.

The volumes are not down in gambling and illegal transactions, but we have to acknowledge that we don't have anything to do to combat them. Hackers and criminals always wanted anonimity and of course they would prefer other options like Bitcoin. There's nothing we can do about it, they will never cease to exist.

Few months back we have few cases of kidnap and ransom taking by kidnappers was in bitcoins so its just because of these cases have very bad reputation in few countries and authorities taking very stick action against its users

No one for sure can say it is because I have used it for illegal activity but its not impossible as I have read somewhere how multinational companies because of the stringent foreign exchange policy in repatriating funds abroad have resulted in the use Bitcoin in achieving that by buying large amount of Bitcoin with the local currency then transfer to their headquater abroad who then convert to its own currency through the exchangers...

Yeah, bitcoin is often used as a currency in the deepweb. And it is because of its feature that your transaction are anonymous which makes drug dealers, hired killers, or other bad people identity unknown. They use it to buy things which you can't buy that easily.

Though lot other alt coins have been existing regularly most deep web service providers accept bitcoin just due to its popularity and ease of transactions compared to other coins which gets off in a short term. Recently ethereum got accepted by few darkweb service providers.

even on the dark web it is not that easy to buy some highly illegal stuff or hire a killer. those are often just stories to tell people how bad the deep web is. many drugs a sold, but they also get sold at other places and because of the big number and the lower police interest people get away easier with it.

It would be embarrassing if you think that it is not used for illegal activities. You know everything that Bitcoin has to offer, so it is the perfect currency to transact if you think about it. No required identification for every transaction just the addresses and signatures to verify it's yours. I don't have any idea on how it's used but definitely Bitcoin has been used illegally, obviously.

No bitcoin transaction never was and is not anonymous. Every transaction is traceable and somewhere in a block of the chain. If it was some services like as bitmixer, bitlaundry and so on would be useless. And yes bitcoin has being used for illegal activities like any other currency (USD, EUR, GBP, CNY, etc) and like as gold.
