Things are bad lately with wallets and syncing with the block chain. I have several wallets on OSX, Linux and Windows: all stopped syncing. Sure I can fix it but this unstable syncing thing is giving me the creeps. I hope do get better when we go to multi-algo but before that happens I sure hope DEV will fix things with the syncing and the wallet.

As for now, the "fix" of: backup wallet.dat, delete all files and the wallet will start syncing from scrap, restore wallet.dat. Waiting for hours and guess what... it is stuck again. 

The wallet on my OSX, same trick but it still says OUT OF SYNC and is not syncing at all. I left my imac on for 3 days.... this s*cks

ive so far been unable to get anything to work with my RaspberryPI setup controlling my Falcon-scrypt miner.   Got it running on an old notebook just fine. but with 3 raspberrypi's (1 in use for miniwebsite)  i keep trying..lol.   (and i so want to get the raspberryPi 3) sigh.

yeah just seems that 2 accounts that were not using 2fa were hacked. could have been anything, same passwords as another site that was compromised, keyloggers, etc.

I'm running verge(dogecoindark) mining pool, and had to stop pool due to sync problem.

Verge sync process seems have some bug.

When I start the wallet from scratch, it works quite well. rpc port opened, can sync upto the right blockchain height.
But when I restart the wallet after that, it doesn't work as before, rpc port not opened, debug.log just saying

"Loading block index..."

I tried this two times both from height 0, -reindex. One with our old wallet.dat, and one with fresh new wallet.dat just regenerated.
All two situation results same problem.

I'm using the latest version from github trunk.


Interestingly, dogecoindark, and verge both consumed too much CPU from two weeks ago. Did some malformed data inserted to blockchain at that time?
