The more i think about it, the more I come to the conclusion, that the DDoS attack on the Lisk network might have been a blessing in disguise. With exchanges being available from the very beginning, a lot of people were going to dump their Lisk as fast as possible, but they couldn't, which slowed down the dump. The buy orders were there and would have been filled either way, but if they would've been filled faster, a downward spiral of FOMO and panic sells would haven been probable.
Most likely, Waves won't have that. We will see how this affects the price exactly, but I think there is a good chance that Waves will hit prices just above ICO range, at least for a short period of time (I know about the buywalls by the Waves team, I think they will hold).
Additionally, Lisk bounties were paid out after the Mainnet was up and running, so bounty collectors dumped them on a big and healthy market. We will see a lot of Waves bounty colletctors cashing out right at the beginning.
