The only damage here is to your reputation. Either return his money, or pay him the Mrai you owe.

Many people ONLY see Mrai in the old wallet, so they didn't know there is a difference between Mrai and rai!
So even if you ask them if they are sure they want "rai", they won't know what you are talking about.
