The old GPU coin, by the looks of it had a lack lustre dev team, trying to sell brand new video cards from a country where they were already expensive to begin with.  They tried to operate a store front, in an actual building with expensive costs.  The only purpose their coin had was to buy video cards from their website.  people did'nt want the expensive cards, they probably went bankrupt pushing the idea to fruition and had really nothing. . .

They may as well of made an EDT (eau de toilet) coin and sold perfume from a fleamarket booth . .

This GPU coin has a far greater purpose, and lots of uses will be implemented!!! I cant start offing things for GPU coin until it hits an exchange and a some sort of price establishes.  Currently GPU coin is worth 0$

 Thanks guys.  For a while, the network rate had dropped right off and I thought I could pick up some easy coins with my 970 but I could only get maxminers to work for short periods and then I would get disconnects.  Not even now.  Nope just tried again on both ports - nothing.  Anyway, I managed to pick up ypool.ga though and it's working well.

Im curious what kind of scrypt hash rates your getting with a 970

 Using cudaminer-2014-02-28 x64 I'm getting half a MH/s average.  About 500 kH/s.

edit2: well cudaminer does some auto-tuning of it's own but I haven't tweaked anything

I haven't even tried the card yet, never changed one before, so I have a friend coming by today just to make sure, lol, am hard on stuff--Any ideas on what to mine ?

remember when your looking for a place to plug the 6 pin power connector into, there isnt one, the card just plugs into the motherboard ans thats it, no extra wires . . nothing .


Best advice I can offer anyone as to what to mine is watch the ANN's mine new launches, get in early.  Be paitent and know when to dump . .   Crypto is such a gamble all over the place.  Ive had the best luck catching coins at launch, you need spare time and constantly watch.  If your busy then the easy way (but least profitable) is to set it on multipool and forget . .

I can't throttle this speed.  I asked for a max of 100 Mh/s but it just seems to give whatever the hell it wants!


 

 The worst part is that it messes with the difficulty.  At least the diff changes are fairly quick with this coin.
At this rate, my blasting will be over within a couple of hours
