Is it possible to add/save PayId with the address in address book?

Why there are no payment gateways for cryptonote coins and why there are almost no merchants accepting cryptonote coins? There aren't even escrow services for cryptonote coins.
How this coin going to overcome this issues?
 The all point in making locally oriented coin is to create ecosystem that is based on merchants that sell goods and services and get payed with this crypto isn't it?
