actually i think its the full first public release, they have been in "public beta" for months, where anyone could come test the platform, and get paid for bug finding, submitting PR's to github, and just generally being engaged around Slack
I myself have been testing for months, so i can appreciate all the work they have been doing, its hard building something new from scratch
and its not like they did like Alexandria and just ninja mined an old coin for months then took it over to use for their project ;p

Did you guys know, LBRY has given away like 250,000+ LBC in the last month? If you came by Slack or participated in the recent Developer program , damn!   Some people are working on their bounties too making some nice coin.
