Usually when I lose a bet on a ticket that I just made I go straight to the next game.
This doesn't work because you are trying to make a prediction using emotions after a loss.
This is not good and you will more likely lose that next bet.
I have learnt to just take a breather and collect your thoughts. Then after that place the bet if you want to win.

The suggestion is very simple just follow a small bankroll management process just fix a daily limit and in that daily limit if you are playing sports betting then split daily limit in same limit in all bets and play dont go all in in one bet until you are not 100% sure even then also it is not recommended. Like this if you follow then you long term ROI will be very good

to gamble with discipline are really a hard job to do, it is like against the gambling law when most people easy to get fevered everytime they hit the losing streak they are panic and immediately chase it to the death.

i doubt there is an addicted gambler play disciplined, they will just gamble as they wish.

Its not impossible for an addicted gambler to be renewed after all if failures will come to his life because of gambling. He'll learn his lessons beyond addiction because if time comes when he gambles again there will be self control already unlike the previous way he used to. The key to self control is betting just for fun and never bet large amount in single bets because you may lose it instantly and you might lose even the last money in your wallet.

Yeah bet in small bankroll what you can afford only ,as much as possible lock your wallets don't deposit again keep in mind that if you deposit again it is only your greediness to make your lose come back that will never happen for that day .

Always calm yourself down for every bet that you make. It is the same logic as shopping during crazy sale. People will tend to buy more during the sales as it looks more attractive to buy things as the sale tap on the mental state. Similarly, gambling itself also tap on the mental state to urge people to bet more. Dont follow the speed of the game, take time off every few hands and cool yourself down.

As the above mate have the ability to have self control. I realized it after a big failure in a game, which made a big saving of mine to get lost in a single day. One playing without control if lucky, will becomes a hero and most others at some point stops gambling. Better is to have patience and be on the better side of gambling safe.

But there are also lots of betting option within live match which can make you urge to bet more in different option to minimize your loss which in turn can make you loss really high than what you would have lost with single bet at starting.

Even playing for fun, you should feel some emotion I guess, otherwise why would you be playing it?
I know a few guys that even by just playing football, so no money involved, completely lose it, because they want to win it so hard that they get even violent when they are losing. So I don't think you are able to control it because you just play for fun. You are able to control it because that's the way you are, and probably have a good self control in other situations as well.

Control comes with experience in my opinion, now after so many years in gambling I feel I have better control. I heard for word "tilt", when player get in moments when he play out of control. I think every gambler get in situation from time to time, maybe professionals are above that, but they can get nervous as well. Point is that everyone can lose control in gambling, its just matter how often that happen.
