Any retrospective change to the distribution scheme will kill byteball stone dead, nobody would ever believe tonych again.
Just fork and use any distro method you think is better, if you're method is popular you've got a successful coin
Putting a cap is not a change to the distribution scheme, its just an amendment needed to keep the main idea behind this distribution scheme - spreading the coin to as many hands as possible, providing
decentralization, among other benefits. The exchange addresses are excluded - is it a change to distribution scheme? Nope. Cheaters (using funds not belonging to them, ICO or whatever else) should be excluded too, for the same reasons as exchange addresses.
With 10-20% of the currently released supply going into single hands, this coin will fail to deliver one of its main points. Note the motto: "Byteball -
Decentralized value".
This is not about greed. My tiny share will not change much regardless of whether cap will be set or not. This is about
caring of this project. The ones who do not care, are happy to get their freebies (which they will dump as soon as it hits exchanges). Those are the people who praise the Dev for giving them free money, and they call everyone complaining about distribution a "greedy" person. Well, it would be hard to explain something to them, as project is not of an interest to them, they care only for their free money...
