No comparison, an Antminer is an ASIC that blows away any GPU on the algorithm it works with - but the GPU can do a TON of algorithms that an ASIC can't do at all.

Have any of you guys found a way to set the intensity with the EWBF miner for Bitcoin Gold? I have used the --intensity option but it's having no effect, it's always running my cards full tilt. Thoughts?

Hello every body,

Just have finished my new RIG 6x Geforce 1070 gigabyte 8gb OC edition...

Have installed Simple Mining OS to mine ETH...

MHS are not interresting to me (below 25 MH/s with claymore) I would like to try EWBF to mine BTG..

Can someone give me some information about Pools, configuration etc.. ?

I am close to getting this up and running, I just need to figure out how to fix this error:

My latest version of EWBF miner is failing to start on a fresh install of windows. I'm new round here so any help regarding info I should post to try and get this running would be great. I have this running on my main Pc but it fail s to run on my new mining rig.

I'm in the process of reading this post from the beginning.

Running a Linux system so I am using a .sh file to start the miner:

Figured I'd tinker around with this before investing into some decent GPU's, so I am testing the miner with an old machine and fresh OS... (don't laugh Grin

My miner has been working fine for months but all of a sudden I get this:

ERROR: Incorrect stratum user: ""
ERROR: No properly configured pool!

The information in the bat file has always been the same. I'm not sure why the miner isn't reading it this time. I have the latest version of the miner.

Anybody else having these issues?

Would be greatly appreciated if someone can give an input.
