Well, as expected. Bitcoin is really popular right now. Thats why i expect it will be on news. Bitcoin is now conquering the markets. We all can see that. The price says it all. Bitcoin is operated by big whales. Thanks to them, the bitcoin craze never stops.

good to heard that in the beginning of 2017 many people has more concern for bitcoin and i think bitcoin has pretty near to more popular and bright future will be possessed by bitcoin and it will began this year but regarding there is some issue unsolved last year i think as time goes by these issue will solved soon

Bitcoin's price is now over 1000 dollars and still going up it will become well know in 2017

I am not surprised by the interest of news greedy organizations. They are covering bitcoin just because bitcoin reached $1K mark and they have nothing to do with the revolution in the payment technology. I am sorry if I am offending someone but I dont care about what media thinks about bitcoin because I know the core potential of bitcoin and it wont affect even if bitcoin falls below $500 tomorrow morning because I believe in the values rather than price.

I was never more optimistic about the future of bitcoin more then now personally. I do know that there still some issues that needs solutions but I guess we will eventually get there. Your thoughts ?

This attention of bitcoin will make price and the future of bitcoin keep rising up.
Once the bitcoin community is widely open so bitcoin will become the best payment method in the future.

I think this because it is influenced by the price of bitcoin is very high at this time. Well, whoever it is, if they know that bitcoin has a very high price, they are definitely going to find out about it.
This will probably continue until bitcoin prices back up. honestly, I think that would be very difficult bitcoin prices to rise after reaching $ 1,000, but, if like this, I'll probably see quite a high price in a few days.

Atlast they are already paying attention to bitcoin and the price of it does really help on getting the attention of people which makes now a mark.Bitcoins adoption now is unstopable and we should expect that this would be a good year to bitcoin and hopefully bitcoin users would increase even more.

The more publicity behind it, the greater the price will rise as there's more adoption and more people buying the coins.
Even the BBC are posting about it (the people who are owned by the UK government).

Yeah i agree, things are looking great for the coming year, i just cant see how bitcoin can lose value again, even if a big hack happened bitcoin and the community is far more mature now and could deal with it easily, in my opinion. Grin

Bitcoin finally demolishing the $1000 barrier isn't something they can ignore. It shows as I hear people around me talking about Bitcoin having touched $1000 for the first time where I then explain that it's the second time. I then get the question of how many coins I have, but I always say that I don't hold anything. You never know how much Bitcoin will increase in value in the future. That's why I prefer to not say anything to people I know.

The price has a direct correlation with many articles written on the major news sites who speaks about bitcoins. The price is already reached the 1000USD and people love story with good content, so they follow the trend. But, that gives a lot of free publicity to the currency and more people will be curious and start to use it soon Wink

Bitcoin Hype strength is renewed. Coming from Op's post. Bitcoin is getting more popular now, for the fact that it actually breaks $1000. People excitement is also refreshed and recharged. So I think Bitcoin price will continue to increase this year 2017. Those articles are the proof

It's good to see bitcoin mentioned all over the media, seeing/reading about bitcoin on the news channels/blogs will bring a lot of new folks into bitcoin. i hope bitcoin surges above $1.5k.

Judging by all that and the way they have kept it at 1k. There will be the sell off as soon as the new blood/fomo begins in the next few days. Rinse and repeat.

We expect even more, and surely there is more of this to come in coming time this year. I don't know if why people around here are saying that news and blogs are just talking about the price but not as a potential currency, but i feel they just say what they see, that is what they do, if they see everyone using it as an investment which it is these days then they will probably show that site for taking the attention of their viewers for sure, why would they talk about a factor of bitcoin which is not yet widely discussed?

With all the events that happen last year, and the current companies who are excitedly adopting Bitcoin plus those new people coming in, I think Bitcoin will continue its uptrend path. It is also stated in one of the article of coindesk that Bitcoin is looking for a new All Time High this year and it is very possible to happen.
