Unless... They just intend to keep buying, and buying, averaging in their cost basis.

My feeling was that they saw the market continue to climb on its own after their last major purchase and took the opportunity to take some profits by selling a moderate number of coins (compared to what they'd bought during the push up), fleecing a few bears, and buying another moderate amount (at a lower rate) to push the price back almost to where it was when they set the trap.
Win-win for them. Eventually we'll find out who they are. My guess is that they're something to do with BTC infrastructure like a new exchange, money transmitter, or both.
Or of course it could be someone like Helu, Gates or the Rothschilds seeing the chance to buy a "controlling interest" while the price is still low.
