I think it would be easy to underestimate the magnitude of the Musk Twitter purchase.

Yes, we might have to go on a ridiculous Doge detour (I hope not).  But there are so many ways that this has the potential to go in a positive direction.

I am not really a Musk fan, for sure.  But it seems to me his reasons for doing this are going to shake some things up.

He has hinted on taking the whole thing private, and is claiming to do so for the sake of "free speech".  Such interesting times!

There isn't really any positive potential. Musk is a narcissistic authoritarian. People who think Twitter is now being "censored" might like the new direction, but it's just going to be same shit on a different shovel, or he'll 4chan it.

You know the whole damn market is rigged when PMs sell off along with equities. 

Musk or not, I think Twitter is a terrible format. It could potentially be a bit less shit but it will always be terrible.
