Washington faces steep cryptocurrency learning curve

Washington is grappling with how to govern cryptocurrencies, with many lawmakers facing a steep learning curve to understand how bitcoin and its brethren even work.

The virtual currencies are blurring decades-old lines that regulators use to police financial markets, posing new challenges for state and federal officials.

Investors are eager for more clarity, but fear a knee-jerk reaction from Congress that could derail the cryptocurrency industry in its early years.

“Until they decide to think radically differently about how to regulate financial services, I don’t know how this is going to get resolved so cleanly,” a financial technology lobbyist told The Hill.

I have several more similar videos on more specific topics planned for filming this week. I have only finalized one topic of three videos that I want to film in this week, so I'm happy to take suggestions from the community for videos on topics that they would most like to see.

The current video I have chosen is about DCEBrief - what people can expect from it, and how it will grow going forward once DNotes Global raises venture capital.

Other ideas:

- An updated video on how DNotes believes simplicity is crucial for digital currency adoption, and that security is the prerequisite to getting simplicity (and tying that into DNotesVault, cold staking etc).

- A video on automated invoicing and why it matters to businesses and payments.

- A video on our "philosophical motivation" how digital currency can improve our lives -- economic freedom and how it relates to digital currency (redone).

- How Four Pillars of Business Success is one of the crucial underpinnings of the DNotes Global ecosystem -- with DNotes Consulting and Next Gen VC partnerships requiring a sound foundation in the business principles found within.

We have considered operating a Telegram channel. The current main obstacle for us is that someone from our core team should always be available in the channel (and often the same ones on repeat). Currently we still have a small team and putting time into that means less time spent on other things. You are correct though, many Telegram channels can grow very quickly. There are likely some interim solutions we can consider, like having community led or moderated channel, with someone from the core team commenting when they are able. We are actively seeking to expand our reach into other countries, and are connecting with people who may be able to set us up with QQ and WeChat in China.

Thanks for replying but you shouldn't have any problems with mods and operations on telegram because some of the members will volunteer for that function, you can choose or replace if you don´t like someones performance i think you should start one as soon as possible!

Plan on doing the manual swap. Is there a new wallet we need to download for DNotes 2.0 coins or are we using the same wallet?
