although being completely anonymous make bitcoin prone to being used in criminal activities like cyber scam however i can not completely agree with them that the existence of Bitcoin has increase crime. cyber crime has been in existence even before BTC is recognised world wide and the technology advancement high crime rate will also increase. this government did the same thing to Liberty Reserve in 2012 as they completely shutdown the operation and functionality of then famous ecurrency.

As far as I know, it is used in the dark web to purchase illegal stuffs and pay for some services. I will not elaborate it and let you realize what I mean. I think bitcoin is being used in illegal transaction simply because it cant be tracked who the person pays and orders the stuff. I think it maybe solved in the near future but as for now, all we can do iis to just trust the dev team to resolve this issue.
