Urgent Notice!!! be careful with imposter website
As the cryptocurrency market continues to rapidly expand, there are those who, unfortunately, want to take advantage of the people interested in supporting projects like BitClave. The BitClave community Slack channel is not alone in being plagued by malicious users who are trying to trick users into sending them Ether and Bitcoin, fraudulently claiming that they will receive CAT in return.
Recently, an imposter website has begun advertising through Google with the address
www.bitdave.com - the lowercase D looks like cl so the address appears to be official website.. We are working with registrars and lawyers to shut them down, but until that happens please make sure to be diligent about confirming you enter the correct URL when attempting to use our wallet. Our website is
www.bitclave.com. One way to ensure you always access the correct website is to follow this link and bookmark it, then use your bookmark to navigate to our site. Please make sure you help inform your fellow BitClave community members- this will help stop the scammers!
Note: BitClave will never send wallet address through Slack. Any and all transfer addresses for crowdfunding or other activities will only be provided through the BitClave wallet, accessible through
www.bitclave.com. Once a Slack account is identified as sharing fraudulent URLs or misleading information, they are removed from our Slack channel. If you ever have any questions about the authenticity of a message or link, you can always reach out to us through live chat on our website.
