Well it's quite harder to earn free bitcoins without any investment nowadays. The amount that faucets offer is also quite low but that will surely add up some amount in bitcoins. The only thing which they require is one's patience. The best way which I found is to join some signature campaign or to do free lancing i.e. to offer your services for bitcoins.
The amount of faucets will always be very low. Even when bitcoin faucets just started, it paid like 5btc but it was extremely low as compare to fiat. So faucets can be seen as a long term earning when assuming bitcoin would to be x10 from now. However, it is still better to spend your time to get a part time job and den use the earning to get btc.
