I am still here and btc is still alive. People will leave new will come.

    several months ago "friends" of core dev attempted to hijack several alt coin projects.

    These attempted and actual hostile takeovers were done so that the altcoin projects that could become popular and threaten cores' altcoin could be mitigated before they become a threat.

    Part of the changes these trolls wanted include a switch to a lower security model,  they advocated off chain nonsense, pledged a large premine to themselves, and promised to mine the coin in house with their own equipment as a selling point.

    Neat group huh?

    In the end Trumpcoin was able to resist this attack,  right Gembitz?  But today Trumpcoin is happy to announce that we have had a meeting and are now discussing what way we can assist BCH.

    I am not exactly sure how an altcoin can help bch but we are now trying to see if there is a way.  I am not willing to work on any altcoin anymore unless it directly helps bch adoption and acceptance with merchants and to see safe harbor transactions available to the unbanked and underbanked..

    It's been a painful few days that's for sure. Hoping we get a strong bounce soon if we get under a thousand I'm not going to feel so well. It's crazy how fast things chance in crypto. Hopefully Bitstamp addition will help propel the price soon.

    i understand how you feel, i used to be like that....until i learned that i believe in crypto long term...
    this led me to change my way of thinking....if a gd coin is cheap buy it (after research) , if it dumps dont panic, in fact be happy as its a gd opportunity to buy more and average down your entry price.
    (far better than averaging up on  pump, if you know what i mean)


    What i have noticed about BCH at these low prices...there isnt many people willing to sell...interesting...very  Smiley

    That was due to a massive amount of manipulation due to the EDA this has now been forked off which is good for both coins but has also removed any chance of BCH taking a huge share of hashing power ever again because to be able to take 60% of power you would need to increase the value of BCH by 400%

    What makes you think you have to increase the value to incentivize the miners? Don't you think they're smart enough to know that if they collude to move hashing over to BCH that the value of BTC will drop and the value of BCH will rise? Don't let that keep you up late into the night...

    He's right, if BTC hashrate had dropped a few more exahashes and the mempool stayed full, BTC would've failed slowly over the course of a month and BCH would've assumed pole position.

    Not that any of us wants this - BTC is still a great coin despite all of Blockstream's efforts to make it useless without Lightning. But when somebody is walking around with an albatross around their neck they can only hold on for so long. Look at the growth in alts right now - there is money that is dying to get into the crypto space and BTC simply can't absorb it.
