So it's a premined PoS coin, and the concern is the devs will hog the staking from the premine, right? Well, if you disapprove so much, grab all you can from the airdrop, and dump them all as soon as they hit an exchange. What's the problem? AFAIK, there's no ICO involved here, no initial investment from users, right?

Not sure what you're saying here? Are you saying that because there's a winner and loser in every market exchange? Those exchanges are voluntary. The party that ends up losing some value must've thought they'd be gaining value or at least status quo, otherwise they wouldn't have completed the exchange.
As far as DeepOnion, if you get some in an airdrop but otherwise have no prior investment, I don't see that there's anything to complain about. On the other hand, if you buy DeepOnion from somewhere, well then you'd better know full well what you are buying and whether it's worth what you are paying for it. Again such a purchase would be voluntary.
