It seems that someone in the discord has some kind of contact with the dev, they have a serious problem with a corrupted database and are trying to recover.

It can take days to recover a database with a lot of data (I know from experience), besides they have a serious error in how the site works (ajax).

Even if they restore the db, they need to fix the error/timeout handling on ajax lib or it will not work, the site will always overload in a matter of minutes.

Which discord is this?

So has no one been able to log in at all? I am never able to... I have a bit of BTC lying in my account from selling my EMB, would like to buy into some other shitcoins but it seems impossible right now...

Was able to login. I checked my litecoins on the blockchain itself and all were still there.

For the website's side, I still have my Electra coins.

It's not from someone at coinsmarkets. It's from one of the users in chat, And it's not trolling, it just warns people about trolls in chat that pretend to be CoinsMarkets developers/admins that try to scam people for btc (request btc donations or personal information). Consider it a PSA from one of the chat users.

But the user is using the word "we" as if he is someone from CoinsMarkets and his name is "CoinsMarketsMods". He is impersonating someone from CoinsMarkets if that's the case which will ultimately only create more chaos.

No one in that chat is legit. CoinsmarketsMods just spam it to keep FUD away because some conspiracy theories people came up with are just ludicrous

Yeah, there's a few Telegram channels. They're not particularly useful, the active one is just an admin basically damage controlling on behalf of CoinsMarkets.

And when did you send your BTC?

Yep. Biggest red flag is when coins control open up just selling Electra! Big scam now that coin house.eu is listed on coins market cap!

This is how I got robbed going to hitbtc saw hitbtc had a coin I liked and joined and bought it only to have funds put on hold forever.

I mean I'm new to crypto but I sure find it strange how an exchange is only selling eca and even after robbing everyone coinhouse.eu is on coins market cap.

I have no way to confirm whether or not they actually are the same entity, I was just trying to look a little closer at what Digital had said.

Given the current situation that we're in, it certainly doesn't look good that 2 weeks after coinsmarkets went silent on this forum that coinscontrol popped up and started posting.

As far as I know, no one has been confirmed as having any direct line of communication with the dev. So we don't know how to get into contact with them.

If only dev would accept help... Prior to the crash, when the exchange started showing sympthoms of not being able to work properly (late december) some guys from russian discord claim to have offered help with configuring the servers and rewriting the ajax calls, but the dev declined their offer.
