Switch to a pool on page 1 of this thread
The thing is, the beginner's pool mining software provided on the Electroneum web site mines to the "official" pools by default. On launch day, I started with the beginner windows miner, which only requires an ETN address, and ran it for a few hours until I started poking around for other options. When I checked my balance on uspool later, I noticed that I got a couple payments that could only be from those early hours of mining with the beginner's miner. As of right now, the uspool still reports 1155 miners connected. Many of them are probably mining newcomers who are still running the beginner's miner on their PC, thinking they're earning ETNs, and not sure what's really going on. These people are so enthusiastic that they couldn't wait for mobile mining and took the initiative to download the beginner's miner and gave it a try, the kind of people Electroneum wants to appeal at the first place. The Electroneum team have done a fantastic job marketing the idea of crypto mining to new users, and this particular oversight is a little surprising.
