Pay attention to such coins as IOTA and VERGE. I believe that these coins have a very strong potential for price growth in 2018. Of course you choose, but I would pay attention to them.

I think those are good choices too. However, I have seen many improvements with how their respective developers are doing for Waves and sumokoin. I am not sure if it will prosper for a long time and if the pump they are doing would continue to help propel the value of their coins, but at least, as an investor, you can be comfortable in the fact that they have an active developer community that would prevent their coins to just die off.

I'd personally recommend ICOs, as some of them (not all) are pretty profitable in the long run and might generate high Return on Income. However, if you're passionate only about altcoins, I'd say:

1. ETH - it is the second one in the market and its potential is limitless; it creates various new tokens and is used for real world problems. Also, its price will surely increase, thus, better invest NOW and HODL!
2. LiteCoin - one again, high potential, decentralized, generates high return on income in the long-run.
3. Ripple - centralized, generates high return on income in the SHORT-RUN, however. You might want to consider Ripple as a means to generate income in a timely manner.

I believe that Ripple and the Ethereum are the best potential coins today, and I am confident that they will show their potential in 2018

Long term= bitcoin and NVST
Short term= Kucoin and DeepOnion

But as the others also say, look for information about the project. and make your own decision

I would choose to invest more on Oyster Pearl (PRL) because the project is amazing and more effective than other more new ICOs.
The second one is AltOWL, it's a coin monitoring system that offers all in one application for trading monitoring and eliminate multiple browsers and machines running at the same time.

Sir i suggest ripple, monero, and ethereum. Ripple is now ahead of ethereum when it comes to market cap. And still improving. Though most of the projects here that i know use eth as their medium of exchange.

I think you'll first invest in safe and trusty try the ripple and ethereum because they are rising now that 2018 is big enough and I'm not sure if it will increase in the end of January.
