If I have to invest now in two altoins, I would probably buy waves and monero.
Waves has recently increased and I really think it can hit the 50$ this year

ETH, DOGE, and WAVES. I think, the three will develop quickly enough.
At present we have no fixed rules which enable us to predict quantitatively.
I had a lot to say, and couldn't stop to think how to express things well.

Whenever you are seeking a long term investment , you should look up for a coin that has been existing for at least 6 months after getting listed in exchange since if such a coin manages to survive for more than 6 months and has a rather stable/increasing price in value then it's a potentially good coin to invest your money in . You should avoid shitty coins and aim for ones that already have miners , traders and people who accept it as a payment method , because if these factors exist in a coin then it's likely to exist and evolve and thus you'll make profit out of it .

I would say Bancor(BNT)  and Payfair(PFR)

"Waves" survives because of a belief in its potency, throghout mid-November 2017, and even to the present day "Wabes" worm as a backup coin by some small investor like us.

I think its a bad idea to invest all on the same coin , its better to diversify

Anyone who is into the world of crypto currency or from any business point of view it's not a smart idea to dump all your investment in one place but if the user wants to invest into only one coin then he/she needs to be really proactive and make sure once there is a value pumps he should segregate capital with profit and then take out the amount of profit and then invest into different coins but user needs to give more time to crypto if user needs good return from investing into just one particular coin .

Bitcoin and Waves and Shift are good coins. But it is better to be holding more than just 3 coins in your portfolio. At first, I was also a holder of only a couple of coins but as soon as I have extra savings I went adding a few more coins to it. These are all in addition to the bounty tokens I received which I also am holding. I am also holding some TFL, NEM, Strat, and Siacoin. I hope the following year will be a better year for the altcoins.
