yep file name is bitcoin2x.conf and even from Wallet options when I click on open config it shows the nodes:

All good now as I discovered after adding nodes it needs 30 mins to continue synchronizing

Move the coins from the current wallet to a new wallet.
Download official qt wallet from website.
Add "old" private key to wallet (google)
Profit!
