Altcoins have always fallen and will fall if bitcoin sharply rises or falls. But do not worry - alts will be restored. It is just necessary to wait for a while.

It looks like alt coins coins are more tied to the dollar than to bitcoin. So, if bitcoin will start bullrun alts will fall in BTC price a lot, but not much in $ price.

I think that when all tokens start to go crazy, then up to a certain point, they will collapse again.

Good alts will prosper this year I think. The coins without solid idea's and no real purpose will always crash imho.

Everything could happen on the real market, including crash and it will happen again and again without no one know when it happen. As trader/ investor we should know and prepare our self about it, we call it minimalism loss. Until now, we can face crash with stop loss but not always works. Just keep practice because experience will become our saver.

Everything is possible. I think that in the near future we are waiting for the correction of prices for altcoins. It all depends on the plans of the "big players". if they want to buy altcoins at a cheap price, then there will be bad news and there will be a alts crash again.

These are all just opinions, but i also think there's a correction on the way. And it won't be just 'shitcoins' dropping. This has been an amazing run,  but a bloodbath might be on its way(doesn't mean they still won't be higher then they were when this run started).

During that cycles, we see some bull and bear type trends on bitcoin and altcoins. This is very normal like you said. When the time comes, bitcoin will make a price rally while altcoins are suffering from hard crashes.
