The problem, can onion compete with monero, if it has just privacy feature, onion has to offering more than monero, it can,t compete with the competitors, if onion is just following them

This coin is taking its own pace to proceed with all the projects laid out in their road map and whitepaper. They are doing this step-by-step with no regards on what other coins are doing. It is actually a very good thing because the community doesn't need some coin who is just here to compete with others.
