For some reason it seems to me that for the etherium everything will turn out very well at the end of this year, but it still does not grow bitcoin.

I go with BTC because bitcoin is simple by design. Its programming language is not even Turing complete (Google it). This gives it a very small attack surface. It’s been running at 1 block per 10 minutes uninterrupted for almost a decade now.while ethereum  has suffered from many problems, such as crashing during ICOs, the DAO hack and the resulting contentious hard fork. These are the kinds of problems you’d expect from a token with much more functionality, and therefore a larger attack surface.

This year might be the year of ETH as compare to bitcoin. ETH have a lot of improved or advanced technologies that can compete with bitcoin or even can said to replace bitcoin in the future, thus it will be the year of ETH. 

Ethereum is substantially the big protagonist of this year, i wouldn't be surprised if it will overcome bitcoin market cap until the end of 2018. It's used for 98% of ICOs nowaday. NEO is still a good competitor. Hope in the next future more platform will be ready and delivering.

Both coins have got huge potentials which will make them go a very long way. I will say if you have the financial buoyancy, I think both worth investing in the them.

Both have fallen down this year,
But I will choose Ethereum because it's a better coin for me.

It seems to me that both coins can bring you an excellent profit in 2018. Both coins are at the bottom and I'm sure that the market has already turned. This means that soon coins will begin to make a profit.

BTC and ETH these two crypto currency has become really popular lately. At some point I believe ETH  wil gain same value as BTC as peoples investing more in ETH everyday so I optimistic 2018 will be a great year for ETH.

Both are good. But I personally bet on Bitcoin in 2018. Hope to see new record highs this year.
