As far as I'm concerned, bitcoin makes the world crazy because technology has evolved. And people become crazy when they invest a lot of money on something that is not real.

It has a great and undisputed performance over the years. It is actually the benefits of the coin as a currency which are making people that much crazy. Because of that people are interested to adopt it and because of that adoption the price of bitcoin is increasing so the features of it and the price rise are making more and more people attracted to bitcoin and they are now crazy because of it.

There are a lot of countries in the world, and each of them is approaching the disruptive technology of cryptocurrency from a different angle. For some it's an investment, for others it's predominantly disruptive technology, and for others, it's seen as a secure, decentralised hedge against a financial establishment.

As for me, The main season why Bitcoin make the world go crazy is that Bitcoin has brought a lot of opportunity for the investors from such as ICOs, trading... to earn money. Especially in 2017 when The BTC price go rapidly up to 20k. Athough BTC actually come back to lower price recently but it still affect significantly to the world.
