yesterday the Waves site was hacked for short amount of time, no money is lost because Waves has no control over user funds, users have complete control over their funds and only way they can lose them is being phished to give out information.
Statement from Waves support between the lines most important info:
Wavesplatform does not have and will not have any access to user private data. Such us (private key and seed phrase).
So to remain safe do not lose or give away your key to anyone or use it on some non reliable websites.
SCE is under waves contract. be safe!!
Waves site was hacked nothing serious happened they do not control the information and funds you do as person control your own funds!!!
Waves is decentralized.
So this just proved waves is the best if this happened to some centralized platform u would lose your funds but now u didnt and can not lose it as long you have you own seed words which is key to your account!
It is safe to use now and always just dont ever give away your seed words to anyone and you will never have any problems.
You hold the key of your safe its most honest way to share the risk and u do not depend from somebody else to protect you but your self.
Who ever did this is just trying to spread fomo.
