To be honest dont know what is happening. I am mining solo.

tons of rejects mining with the new wallet.  easily 80% or more.  Is this the new 51% attack protection?

There was a slight problem in the defense where clients were being denied a switch to the better chain. This is currently being resolved and a maintenance patch will be released shortly.
