    So for the Antminer's WAN settings, use most of the options similar to your Mac's (Network Pref Pane/Advanced) but for the main IP Address you have three options:
    1. Set it to DHCP (get it's own address from your router) and you'll have to find the IP using inet like you did earlier, but the IP may change at a later date.
    2. Set it to DHCP but set a static assigned IP based on the mac address of the Antminer from your router's settings.
    3. Set a static IP for an unused address on the same subnet the rest of your network is on (10.0.1.x).

    Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 10.0.1.1
    IPv4 broadcast: 10.0.1.255.
    DNS: 10.0.1.1

    One of the S1 miners does not boot at all and as a result I cannot connect to the miner . 

    The ethernet port does not light up with both green and orange lights , instead it only blinks with a single green light. The miner seems to be stuck and refusing to boot. Any pointers or help ?

    been working on setting 3 of these up tonight. So far I have 1 working but I can't access it, 1 I can access and have all the proper settings but wont mine, and the third i can't do either. So far all i've done is entered in the proper WAN information, added my workers, and changed the ip address for all of them so they could be accessed individually in the future. At one time I was able to access all of them and make changes. I'm at a loss currently and i've tried many suggestions over the past 5 hours of trying to get these to work.

    I just got my first S1 today and I am able to connect and talk to it, but I can't seem to get it online and mining.  This is my first miner so this whole thing is new to me, and I'm on a Mac, yay.

    So I have my WAN on my S1 set to DHCP.  I was able to locate the address of my S1 on my network, which it is currently set to 10.0.1.75.  So when I point my browser to that address I see the GUI, and I'm able to adjust settings, but after entering in my miner info when i go to the miner status page nothing shows up.  Any clues for me to go to?

    Do you see network connection in interfaces?  If so the little side green light should blink fast and hash.

    hello

    I need some help to setup my AntMiner. I have psu cx500, I can connect to my miner using 192.168.1.99 , I updated all info regarding pool, worker, password ect. , but for some reason something is wrong with my setup. I can't ping any websites using ssh or gui:

Also my router is set to assign WAN automatically-does it mean anything for settings? Also router is set on sharing one public IP address among all devices-how this would work?

    I am a noob at this, looked over dozens if not hundreds of pages on this and other forums.
    Can someone help me please, especially if you set it up using Apple mac, but any help will be much appreciated.

    I have this sometimes. Looks like your NTP is fine because it resolves the host... I suggest restarting your router and ant... it works for me. I think cgminer causes it to stop hashing... happened to one of mine again last night and it's on a 750W Antec.

    Your WAN is up and seems to be working... try doing a ping from the network diagnostics in the gui...

    You need to disable the NTP client or replace the addresses with other local ntp servers if you just google them.

    Also your broadcast address look incorrect, it should be the same as the ipv4 or just leave it blank.

    thanks for replay, I disabled NTP client in System and removed broadcast address (blank) from setup , reboot,  power off, on still can't ping anything and errors from system log

    What is the address of your router, are you sure it is 192.168.1.1? You need to have the correct address for your gateway and DNS.

    LAN gateway 192.168.1.254
    Primary DNS   68.94.156.1

    this fixed everything

    Hello,

    Can someone tell me how to disabled AntMiner S1 alarm please ?

    I don't want AntMiner S1 beep when it stop hasing.
