    What proxy you using and what pool? (i see your earlier posts now) It looks like the pool your using doesn't have the difficulty set correct.  For example, you want to set it to 32 (per cube) on btcguild.

    yes. I tightened the screws.  I have done ever thing that has been advised in this thread.   I don't have any X's on the screen.
    This is the jobs and A/R info along with the efficiency and hash rate.

    u prob have some kind of network/proxy server bandwidth issue.  can u try running the proxy server on a different network and computer?  Maybe take over to a friend or relative's house and set up. I sincerely doubt the Cube hardware, PSU, or cooling is the issue.



    I have other computers but they are all running windows 64 bit. I was told that I can't run the cube with bfgminer on a 64 bit system.  As for friends and family, that is not an option. 

    Are there any other proxy servers than the one at Slush's Pool?

    I am using ghash.io.  Is there a way to set the difficulty in the bat file or is that controlled by the pool.

    U can run BFGMiner as a proxy, but only the 32bit version of it.  32bit BFGMiner will run on a 64bit PC.  Not sure if using BFGMiner will help though, doesn't hurt to try.

    I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand.  I downloaded the stratum proxy from slush's pool and then ran bfgminer to start mining.  I was under the impression that they were both needed.  Can I run bfgminer without the stratum proxy from slushe's pool?

    I found a way to set the difficulty on ghash's site.  I am up to 28ghs.  So it is better.  Now if I could get this second miner to work.

    If you never got tho the config page to change the ip the default Cube address. Then it is NOT 192.168.1.200:8000 it is actually 192.168.1.254:8000 out of the box.

    Just a thought.....

     If you changed your ip address from 192.168.10.1 to get one cube set up. Why the hell , not just leave it there. There is nothing magical about the 10.1 addy.

    It is at 10.1. I got one cube running.  The second cube is the one I cannot get to the config page. I have reset it using the factory reset but still cannot connect to 192.168.1.254:8000

    You will never connect to the come if you router default gateway is 192.168.10.1. If I recall correctly, you change your router gateway to 192.168.1.1 to access the second cube, then accessed the cube config and gave it 192.168.10.200:8000, then changed the router ip back to 10.0.

    The same process should be followed the get the non working cube working.. Alternate solution would be to plug the cube directly in to a computer and set a static ip address in the 192.138.1.xxx subnet to get to the cube then you can set the cube's ip to your beloved 192.168.10.xxx. The cube and the device you connect MUST me in the same range to communicate.

    I followed the same procedure for both cubes.  But I haven't tried connecting it to a computer directly. Can you elaborate?

    Has anyone experience of tweaking Asicminer Cube? Now it's quite loud and i would like make it a little bit quieter. I think temp isn't problem even overclocked mode because chassis is now in overclocked mode only like 25 degrees. I was thinking ATX fan controller to monitoring temps and adjust fan speed to right level. Any ideas?

    The only thing I can think of is that your Gateway is blank.   Stranger solutions that I have seen include turning off the WiFi on your Android phones and closing your Bitcoin wallets.  Also, try another pool, like BTCGuild, and see if you have the same results.  Undecided

    Just got a new cube, ran great for like 20 min then would shut off.  Tried the other fuse and same thing happened again.  Noticed afterwards both fuses starting to burn/melt.  The fuses say 32v on them, are they stupposed to be 12v fuses?

    My psu is 550w bronze rating, this psu has worked great on other miners.  Any ideas?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Wattage doesn't really matter as much as Amps for these.  What is the amps on your 12V rail?

    I haven't had any issues with the fuse on mine, but when I was trying to use a 630W PSU with +12V1@18A, +12V2@16A it would only stay powered for a few minutes before crashing.  I switched to a 850W PSU with +12V1@25A, +12V2@25A and it is working flawlessly for over 10 days now. 

    Someone posted earlier in this thread that they were succesfully running one on high on a single 12V rail @25A so I would assume that is the bar you would be shooting for...

    Good luck!  These things are a little frustrating to get going.

    Yeah, you should be able to find a fuse at your local car supply store like AutoZone or O'Reiley's

    Just make sure to get a 12V 30A fuse.

    Remove the -O 1JYzMxeew7CyfnqovZMRszN8gXqEVSSCbZ and try again.  I don't know what that is but you don't need it in the bat file.

    That is the my receive address for Eligius pool. Should that address go somehow into the miner itself, i.e., twice under "Miners user:pass", e.g., "1JYzMxeew7CyfnqovZMRszN8gXqEVSSCbZ,1JYzMxeew7CyfnqovZMRszN8gXqEVSSCbZ"? I think that will throw it off, Eligius doesn't need passwords.

    You can try the proxy listed on the first post.  It is easier to set up and less difficult then bfgminer.

    Regarding ghash.io, I am not familiar if there is a setting.  Some pools do not allow adjustment.

    Well, the Gateway is blank in the OP--then again, the OP also says "You only need 2 6pin PCI-E connectors per blade." which effed me up for a while finding a power supply. Per CUBE, not "per blade".

    So now I have:



    With the same result, using the off-the-shelf Slush proxy:



    No wallets are open. No wifi on el phonearooney, there Homer.

    Now, I followed this advice:

    So, it seems a login issue? The .bat file changed the pool to Eligius it seems, but there must be a conflict between the Miners user:pass (which is Slush's). Getting closer...

    Yeah, OP didn't need to have a Gateway in there for it to work, but when I changed it my Cube started working so I don't know if some routers demand it or what... btw, you have you Gateway as 192.169.1.1

    try adding "-gp 8332" to your batch file...

    Until we see what is in his user:pass area, I'd be willing to guess that's where the problem is.  I run several cubes and blades and while some pools don't work well with stratum_proxy and blades/cubes, eligius and slush's pool do work just fine.  For Eligius, you have to have the username be the same as your wallet address (and that wallet has to be one you can mine to, not an exchange),and for good luck you should always send a password.  I use "walletaddress_device:x,walletaddress_device:x" when I point a cube or blade at eligius.
