Thought you guys might be interested. The Dogecoin subreddit is planning to form a new organization. Sounds like it's leaning towards democratically elected leaders across multiple committees, overseeing such things as PR, infrastructure, and charity. Thought it was interesting myself. Like watching a nation being born.

Can't wait to read the Dogecoin Consititution. Such laws. Much democracy. Wow.

I'll break my silence and say this: yes, and no. -- my only skin in this game is thatu/ummjackson trusted me to hold on to "the foundation funds" (1.6 mil doge + change). If he says move the funds, I'll move the funds.

I've been watching the "Bitcoin Foundation" clusterfuck go down, and I don't want us to suffer the same fate.

Many of us here in the community carry weight, but at the core, this is a decentralized system. I'm of the opinion there needs to be multiple "foundations" -- led by people who want to take charge and make things happen. Those that succeed will succeed. Those that fail, will fail.

Supporting our developers is a worthwhile cause. Promoting charities is a worthwhile cause. A foundation worth supporting requires a strong leader, and that's something I have yet to see emerge yet. When I see leaders rise up, I'll happily test them by fire and see how they respond. Until then, there's nothing (yet).

And no, I'm not going to lead a foundation cause. Wow Such Business, Inc. is my priority.

What were you expecting with 100 billions coins and infinite inflation ? Doge creator said it himself, early investors wont be able to become rich with Dogecoin.
