Okay shibes, as most of you are aware I'm not that chatty. I leave that mostly tou/rnicoll But from time to time, for some reason, I feel like there is the need to speak about certain things. Dogecoin has recently gained some traction again, price-wise, community-wise and publicity-wise. Cool stuff. People get more curious about Dogecoin again. Great. People get confused too, so let's focus on that and clear some things up:
Dogecoin is dead, cause there is no development.
False. Doge is alive and kicking. I know on first sight, when you look at GitHub you won't see any releases in so long. I get that. In a space like crypto we seemingly have gone centuries in the real world without an update. But then again, our network ran h*ckin stable for the same centuries. I'm still proud of that. We are also working on 1.14, the next major update to the codebase. Progress on that was covered well already. GitHub will always show the latest stable release as default branch. Imagine an exchange accidentally building a dev branch, deploy it, losing customers funds. I have seen less likely stuff happen in my time........................................................................... ......
