Kenshin reminds me of my cousin, I once GAVE him a graphics card for FREE, he decided it wasn't good enough, so flashed a new firmware, overclocked it and fried it. Then came back demanding a new one because the one I gave him wasn't good enough.
NineLives has the patience of a saint, I'd have told Kenshin to do one, I doubt his lawyer threats are anything more than hot air, anybody dealing with legal action goes about it like a regular civilized human being, not spouting nonsense and trying to clean up their admissions on a forum.
Careful he will probably accuse you of been NineLives lover, or NineLives on another account, If I could see holes in Kenshin evidence then a qualified solicitor will rip him it to bits, and since he has removed a lot of his posts stating what he has done then he has just shot himself in the foot.
(Oooh look back to page 24 again)
I never threaten of using the lawyer. I am telling him,
1) I am going to write a formal email to him, and ask for a refund.
2) If he refused I will contact the Trading Standards and also the ASA about his business. In cases of reported criminal behaviour, for example, scams, unsafe goods and rogue traders. I might even contact the police. Which the items which I ordered is consider unsafe, and also I think he is running a scams as well as a rogue trader.
3) I will try to arrange a mediation with him, to arrange a full refund.
4) If he still refused, I will take him to the civil court. Which is the normal path to deal with rogue traders. And yes I will call my lawyer to see him in the civil court.
Please note: I will only go to my lawyer and take him to court, if all 3 steps have fail. By the time it get to the 4th step, the court is on my favour. As I have tried all possible ways to deal with him and ask for a refund.
