    This would make the two a "higher" power which would drastically increase security across the board and who knows one dev team would be able to donate time to the other when needed and time is free

    Cant we use tech that's been around like prepaid credit cards since the infrastructure is already there attached to all POS systems. All we would be doing is modifying whats encoded on the magnetic strip.  I mean even if we use your idea with usb sticks the prepaid cards could be for people who don't want to use or carry around a USB stick. People already carry around CC daily a USB stick could be for more tech types and business types. thoughts?

    I was thinking about this idea as well(using credit cards). But i think USB sticks are a little more usable as the consumer would be able to plug into their computer and run the new(unreleased) wallet from there.

    THough thinking more on this idea i was going to say USB sticks allow users to see how many PRT they actually have when hooked up to a computer, however with credit cards, you aren't able to find out except by logging into your bank.

    One down side of the magenetic strip design would be potential theft of the strip data. Some people may have concerns over this?

    Thats an interesting idea aswell. If only i had the pay of a high end CEO i would definitely experiment with these ideas;P

    Yeah you might be right there's alot of cracker types that are involved in Crypto. So there's no doubt they would get right on lifting that info from your card while its in your pocket and setting up all kinds of scams.  apps for iphones ipods and other smart phones would work along with usb sticks

    Does anyone know how to cancel a PRT COIN transaction that never went through and appears to be stuck in my PRT wallet?

    On Feb. 8 I tried to send 256,289.9981 PRT from my PRT wallet (version particle-qt-8.7.3) to my Coinedup.com PRT wallet.

    I've since sent 5 PRT and 2 PRT and they've went through successfully but not the transaction for 256,289.9981 PRT.

    Here are the Transaction details:

    Status: 0/unconfirmed
    Date: 08/02/2014 11:03
    To: PhCJXkduRc5MFZwq28sGXFf6uoNkdVUvR1
    Debit: -256289.998 PRT

    Go to terminal and do this and then restart the wallet:
    deletetransaction <transaction ID>

    When I clicked the link above it says:

    “When this happens you run the wallet from a command prompt with the salvagewallet command (ie in windows C:> particle-qt.exe -salvagewallet).  It takes a while but it recovers all the stuck sent transactions.”

    I’ve found the particle-qt.exe file but when I click it, it just opens my wallet as usual. I don’t know anything about computer programing so I would be very grateful if someone could explain to me in step by step layman terms how I use a command prompt and what and where the terminal is etc.?

    Click Start -> Run Type cmd, when command prompt is opened type "cd <path to folder where wallet is>\particle-qt.exe -salvagewallet"
    You can find path by navigating to wallet exe from My computer and C or D and folder where wallet is.

    For example: Start -> Run type cmd then cd C:\Users\User\Desktop\particle-qt-8.7.3 then type particle-qt.exe -salvagewallet where User in path is your logged on user.

    You can also create a shortcut and then click properties on the shortcut and in the target field add -salvagewallet then open the shortcut

    I clicked the start button then entered cmd which opened the command prompt. I then entered:

    C:\Users\cameron\Desktop\particle-qt-8.7.3\particle-qt.exe –salvagewallet

    (which was the exact location of my prt wallet)

    It then appeared to begin opening up my prt wallet but took over an hour before it actually opened. Once it did all my previous transactions and balance was gone. So I closed my wallet then restarted it with the same result. I even restarted my computer then reopened my wallet but it’s still showing no transactions or balance.

    Does anyone know what may have happened and what I can do about it?
