Theodore "Duncan" Krostue Brings a Personal Touch to CounterParty Public Relations and Group Meetings as New Outreach Manager

Duncan draws on a strong history of decentralized internet publishing, peer to peer technology, blockchain tech, cryptoart, and online agency experience along with an academic background of informatics and marketing to offer public relations duties a competent voice. Over the last four years he has rooted himself as a publisher, heavy user, elected representative and now as Outreach Manager of CounterParty. Getting the newsletter on a regular publication schedule and the monthly meeting streaming again are top priorities for this new brand manager and spokesperson. Starting immediately he is calling for submissions of articles and contact from projects as well as reaching out to press agencies in order to facilitate healthier communication between the community of users and the general public.

Duncan looks forward to a fruitful future for all involved with the CounterParty protocol, from publishers to collectors and especially innovators. Hi guys - long-time holder here. What are the easiest ways to trade XCP in 2021?  What exchanges have sufficient volume?
Appreciate any first-hand experience.

BONUSBTC is a scam token sent to peoples wallets to trick them into trying to login to a fake counterwallet instance using their 12-word passphrase... at that point the scammers have the 12-word passphrase for the persons wallet and then steal the funds/assets in the wallet

I have updated xchain.io to no longer display the BONUSBTC asset description which contained the URL to the fake counterwallet login.... This should hopefully stop some ppl from losing funds to these scammers.

Same scam with COUNTEREVENT asset was pulled years ago as well.

XCP TX fees set at like $1 fly..

Not familiar with dispensers!  Any good resources on what they are and how to use them?

Quick questions:
 1. Do they have sufficient volume?
 2. Once you have created your dispenser, how do people find it? Is there somewhere you need to list/advertise it?
 3. How do you determine the current market rate? Say, for XCP-BTC
 4. Does Counterwallet support them too? I've tried FreeWallet (web version) but couldn't see any option to create a dispenser.

What I have seen happen is that all unconfirmed TXs get canceled..

I’ve had a few times where it was oversold in the unconfirmed, and just none of them go through, like they cancel..
I don’t think I’ve ever got “free BTC” out of it, more like nice buy orders get canceled on me..

But.. That doesn’t mean it can’t happen.. idk

Yeah, dispensers are awesome for buying/selling xcp..

You can also go for Counterwallet.io. I've been using it since I first heard about Counterparty in 2016 and invested a little. It's still a bit old-fashioned and cannot be compared to other wallets, but it does its job well. And you always have the latest version without having the need to constantly update.

I hope that Counterparty will get back on its feet. I think it has a good chance. Despite the years in which there was little development, the protocol has little competition in its field. And it would be cool to see NFT and other side projects on the Bitcoin chain. Tired of using ETH and SOL and all the others for such use cases.
