I don't think changes to the algo are necessary at the moment and that the only effect it would have is to make the coin look weak and that it wasn't designed correctly.

I like the idea of having different coins all under the Noble brand that all have different properties, such as PoS, X11 etc..

Then I guess whichever coin has most merit will be the one that people decide to trade with.

Yeah, I think the perfect fix, for the long term, would be having 1000+ ppl in the community, each one with 5 MH ASIC .

Maybe a big discount (or a discount at all) in return for a promise of mining only NOBL for the next 1 month (or something like that)?
Such a discount should be applied AFTER the period of dedicated mining, not before, I think, so it will look like a "partial return" of the purchase cost. If it it will be just a discount, I don't see a way to avoid the clever buyers, who will just purchase the unit and sail away.


I know, the one and only incentive should be the dev, the coin and the community, but you know, it looks like almost everyone is running in all directions looking for a profit. Such a difficult time to gather new attention and new people, I think... But in the meantime we have to support the blockchain with more mining power, a little more dedication at the moment, because just watching from a side and talking seems to be not enough.

If we, Noble miners, won't switch to asics, very soon we will be dinosaurs. (= extinction) Am I wrong?

Edit2: Also, a quick calculation: my old rig 670 kH/s (1x7950) I can sell for $500 or even more (bought for $700).
It allows me to buy 2-3 Zeus Blizzards, in total 2.4-3.6 MH. Which means ability to support the NobleCoin network with 4x - 6x more power, basically without any cost. Show me an error in this reasoning.

I wonder if you, the community, demand more proof from my side?
NOBL->BTC transaction you can see directly on an exchange, but BTC->PLN needs an account on another exchange (bitcurex).
(Ultimately - sending thje PLN to crowdfunding platform - I can look for the wire transfer confirmations for example, as I'm using my private account to send the funds).
