http://www.reddit.com/r/official_utc/Let's keepr/official_utc alive! It's a great way to have multithreaded discussions, there's already a fair bit of decent conversation.
A lot of people have been saying that they like having everything on a single thread, and even though it's a great solution for the select few of us that read every post, it doesn't work for most people that are casually interested. It's way too easy to miss posts, announcements, contests, etc... and conversations often die because they get mixed up in others.
If you don't believe it will work, at least give it a try for 1 week. Let's all post questions, interesting pages, and comment. Who knows, maybe if we force the conversation a bit we'll start driving some unexpected growth. At this point, what do we have to lose?

@Bumface, please clarify your post inr/official_utc, I'm really happy that you gave us all an update, but it's extremely misleading for anyone who hasn't experience the daunting hash rates of scrypt-jane coins. This has been pointed out by many members, and it takes 5 seconds to fix. Thanks!
